9th Annual PrideFest Boat Parade
Saturday • June 22, 2019
PrideFest 2019 will be celebrated in Norfolk’s Town Point Park. A highlight of PrideFest 2019 is the 9th Annual Pride Boat Parade, the only Pride Boat Parade in the country! The Pride Boating Club of Hampton Roads was established by participants after the Inaugural Pride Boat Parade in 2011 and has been the coordinating sponsor since then.
The Hampton Roads area was established along the miles of lake, river and bay front and has over 300 years of maritime history. Town Point Park, nestled on the riverbanks of the Elizabeth River, provides a unique setting for boaters to be part of this event.
For locals and visitors that do not have a boat but wish to be part of the Pride Boat Parade, you can come onboard the 135-foot Sailing Ship American Rover for “Out on the Boat” for the Pride Boat Parade! Join the crew aboard the American Rover for a 2 Hour Cruise on the Smooth Waters of the Elizabeth River & Hampton Roads Harbor. They will have a DJ on board as well as Gourmet Gang lunch. Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas, Mixed Drinks, Beer and Wine will be available to purchase.
