Hampton Roads Pride extends its reach from NYC to Charlotte, earning recognition as one of the top ten Pride organizations in the United States by US News and World Report. Annually, we organize prominent festivals and events such as our flagship festival weekend Block Party, PrideFest, and Pride at the Beach. We also host a 5k & Fun Run called Run the Rainbow. In addition to these large-scale events, we play a pivotal role in producing Pride at the Peake, Portsmouth Pride, Newport News Pride, and Phabulous Phoebus in June.
But Pride is more than just producing great large-scale events.
We support our community 365 days a year, through a wide variety of programming with hundreds of community partners.

Hampton Roads Pride partners with regional performing arts institutions to make their important work more accessible to the LGBTQIAP+ community. The Virginia Stage Company, Virginia Symphony Orchestra, The Virginia Arts Festival, and Virginia Opera join Pride in hosting opening night receptions and shows

Cultural venues such as the Chrysler Museum of Art, Nauticus, and the Virginia Zoo all partner with Hampton Roads Pride to offer members discounted passes and unprecedented access to special events designed around the LGBTQIAP+ community
