Hampton Roads Pride 2018 is a series of special events that celebrate the Hampton Roads LGBT and allied communities in support of inclusion, dignity and equality of all people. The events culminate with the Pride Block Party on Friday night and with PrideFest on Saturday.

Get an early start to Hampton Roads Pride week with Pride Third Thursday at the Chrysler Museum of Art. Pose with the LOVE sign outside, and then head inside for food, a cash bar and live music by DJ Melody & Co., Ju Ju Drum and others! Create your own flag at our Make & Take table. Don’t miss this night to celebrate PRIDE. Third Thursday is free for Museum Members and Hampton Roads Pride members. Third Thursday is $5 for all others. This event is sponsored by Capital Group.

As we continue to be on the cutting edge of history – we as people of faith continue to lend our voices and presence, speaking and acting in the name of justice and equality for ALL in the greater LGBTQIA Community.

Participation is open to ALL faith communities who are part of and/or supportive/welcoming/affirming/friends/allies of the greater LGBTQIA greater community.

Party with Pride at the Fourth annual Pride Party on the Peninsula.
The fun begins at Carousel Park in Downtown Hampton at 6:00 p.m.

Later, hop aboard the Miss Hampton II for the Second annual Drag Down the River Boat Cruise.

This year’s “7 Minutes in Heaven ” theme features DJ Rays, with all proceeds to benefit Hampton Roads Pride and its mission. Expect the unexpected at this wildly popular all-night dance party which also features Drag, Live Art, and Heavenly Performers. Each year, this event grows larger with more outrageous fun for the thousands that attend.

Ticket price in advance is $12, after June 25th ticket price is $15. Guests are urged to arrive early!

On the day of PrideFest, the Nation’s only Pride Boat Parade helps to kick off the festivities along the Town Point Park waterfront. Line up on the dock to watch vessels small and large float by with over-the-top theme decorations. Interested in being part of the parade? You can register your own boat or join the fun on The American Rover for their “Out on the Boat” party.

PrideFest 2018 “Stand Up, Stand Out! 30 Years Strong!” on Saturday, June 30th will feature on the main stage renowned headliner, recording artist, Jussie Smollett. Also performing are Hampton Roads Pride Mass Choir, 4-Star Edition Navy Band, Hampton Roads own Black Sheep, The Rich Kids, and Miss Understood. See the nation’s ONLY Pride Boat Parade, non-profit and informational vendors, local food and drink, enjoy the Club Stage, learn about LGBTQ history through activities and exhibits, plus other exciting displays that will fill the day from noon until 7 p.m. at Downtown Norfolk’s Town Point Park.

Now in its 30th year, Hampton Roads PrideFest joins other Pride festivals all around the country taking place during June, which is National Pride Month, and is the largest Pride festival in Virginia.

Local vocalist and violinist Tona Brown, will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal.

Town Point Park and Norfolk Scope Arena are fully accessible to individuals with disabilities.

American Sign Language interpreters are provided for all Pride Main Stage activities.

Recording Artist and Actor Jussie Smollett will headline the PrideFest Main Stage.
